Accepted health funds
At Now Dental, we accept all health funds so you can enjoy immediate rebates, lower fees and lower out-of-pocket expenses.
HICAPS
We are able to process your Health Fund claim immediately using the HICAPS system. This means that all you have to pay on the day of your treatment is the balance.
BUPA PLATINUM
Now Dental is a Preferred Provider for BUPA PLATIUM, which includes the previous MBF, HBA and Mutual Community health funds. This means that patients currently in this fund can claim a higher rebate from us than from other non-preferred practices.
We charge according to the recommended fees set by the health fund and they will rebate a percentage of it depending on your level of cover.
Veteran affairs
We participate in the DVA programme. Eligible Veterans are able to receive most dental treatments at no cost to them.
Bulk billing under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Now Dental is pleased to advise that we support this plan. We will provide bulk billing to all eligible patients under the CDBS, which commenced on 1 January 2014 and provides access to Medicare-funded benefits for basic dental services for children aged 2-17 years.
The CDBS provides children with $1000 in benefits (capped over two consecutive calendar years) for a range of dental services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions.
Families are means-tested requiring receipt of your Family Tax Benefits Part A or certain government payments.re.
