What is an All-on-4® Graftless Solution?

When replacing individual teeth, an implant is inserted per tooth. However, when you need an entire set of upper and/or lower teeth, individual implantation is not a viable option because it would compromise the strength of your jawbone and cause more problems that it would be solving.

So what can you do?

The All-on-4® procedure may have the answer you are looking for.

This procedure fixes an entire set of teeth to your jawbone using only four posts or implants, which provides you with the stability and permanence you need whilst keeping your bone and gums healthy and strong.

For many patients this can be all done on one day and result in the provision of a  full arch bridge which is secured to the implants.  Depending on the patient and whether we are treating one or both arches this may be a half day or whole day procedure from extractions to walking away with a fixed bridge(s).

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

What are the benefits of this type of solution?

Some people mistake this implant for a denture, but while even an implant supported denture needs to be removed to be cleaned, the All-on-4 will never need to be taken out. They can be treated as natural teeth, brushing and flossing as you would your normally existing teeth.
